How we handle your information
Last updated: July 1, 2026
This Policy describes what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information, we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we route every inquiry through our contact form rather than published email addresses.
1. Introduction and Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Thinkbox Technology Group LLC ("Thinkbox," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit thinkboxtg.com (the "Site") or submit an inquiry to us.
Thinkbox is an independent technology consulting firm. We provide business advisory services, design and strategy, program and project management, PMO-as-a-service, data center services, cloud strategy, structured cabling, and audio/visual solutions. The Site is an informational and business-development platform. It is not a consumer marketplace, it has no accounts or logins for visitors, and we do not process payments or sell products through it.
This Policy applies to information we handle through the Site and our direct business communications. It does not apply to the independent practices of third parties we do not control, including sites we link to and the clients, vendors, and service providers we work with under separate agreements.
2. Information We Collect
The Site collects very little. Specifically:
- Inquiry information you provide through our contact form — your name, email address, the subject line, and the message you choose to send us.
- Technical information attached to a form submission — the IP address the submission came from and the time it was received. We record this to operate rate limiting and spam filtering, described in section 4.
- Usage and device information collected automatically by our analytics provider — such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and interaction events including clicks, scrolling, and navigation. This is collected by our third-party analytics provider and is described in section 5 and in our Cookie Policy.
That is the complete list. The Site sets no cookies of its own, and we use no advertising or retargeting pixels. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. See our Cookie Policy for the specific cookies involved and how to block them.
We do not request sensitive categories of information. Please do not include government identifiers, financial account numbers, health information, or other sensitive data in the free-text message field.
3. How We Collect It
We collect information directly from you, when you complete the contact form or communicate with our team. We do not buy contact lists, and we do not collect personal information from data brokers or social media platforms to enrich what you give us.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use what you submit to:
- respond to your inquiry and continue the conversation;
- evaluate and discuss a potential project, engagement, or business relationship;
- protect the form from automated abuse. Submissions are checked against spam heuristics, a hidden field that real visitors never see, a short-lived signed token, and a per-IP submission limit. Submissions that fail these checks are recorded so that we can identify and recover a legitimate message caught in error.
- meet our legal, regulatory, and record-keeping obligations.
We do not use your contact details for unrelated marketing without a lawful basis or your consent where consent is required.
5. Cookies and Analytics
We use a third-party analytics provider to understand how the Site is used. It collects aggregated usage metrics and records interactions such as clicks, scrolling, and navigation, producing heatmaps and anonymised session replays. We use this only to improve the Site's layout, content, and performance. The data is pseudonymous; we do not use it to identify individual visitors, and we do not sell it.
The provider sets cookies to do this. The Site itself sets none. You can block or delete them at any time without losing any functionality here — the specific cookies, and the ways to block them, are listed in our Cookie Policy.
6. How We Share Information
We share information only where necessary, and never for a third party's own marketing. Specifically, with our hosting provider, which stores the Site and the submissions you send us; with our analytics provider, which receives the usage and interaction data described in section 5 and processes it under its own privacy terms; with professional advisors such as legal and accounting counsel where required; and where we are legally obliged to, or where we need to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
If Thinkbox is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
7. We Do Not Sell Your Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not serve third-party advertising on the Site.
8. Data Retention
We keep inquiries for as long as needed to respond, to pursue or conclude the business discussion, and to meet our record-keeping obligations, after which they are deleted. Records of blocked or filtered submissions are retained for a shorter period, only for as long as they are useful for spam tuning and for recovering a legitimate message that was caught in error.
Analytics data is retained by our analytics provider according to its own retention schedule, which we do not control. See that provider's documentation for current retention periods.
You may ask us to delete an inquiry you have sent us, using the contact form. See section 10.
9. Data Security
The Site is served over HTTPS. Submissions are stored outside the public web directory on our hosting provider's infrastructure and are not publicly accessible. Access is limited to the people at Thinkbox who need it, and is protected by authentication and rate-limited login controls.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security, and you send information to us at your own discretion.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request its correction or deletion, and to appeal a decision we make about such a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To make a request, . We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. Because the Site collects so little, in most cases the only information we hold about a visitor is an inquiry they chose to send us.
11. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults and corporate entities interested in Thinkbox. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site links to third-party sites, including our social media profiles. We do not control those services, and their handling of your information is governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review them.
13. United States Focus
The Site is operated from the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Policy as our practices, our Services, or the law change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted here, and your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised Policy.
15. How to Contact Us
For questions about this Policy, or to make a privacy request, . We route inquiries through the form rather than published email addresses, which keeps requests in one place and reduces spam. For formal written notices, you may direct correspondence to Thinkbox Technology Group LLC, Las Vegas, Nevada, referencing this Privacy Policy.
